About Caldridge
Honest math, no funnel.
Caldridge publishes ten specialized loan and investment calculators. They run entirely in your browser — no inputs are sent to a server, no email is captured, no lender pays us to send you anywhere.
Why This Site Exists
Most "free" loan calculators online are lead-generation tools. You enter your numbers; the site sells those numbers to lenders; the lenders call you. We hated that, so we built the opposite.
Caldridge is supported entirely by display advertising. The ads are unrelated to your inputs — they're brand-style placements, not behavioral retargeting. We don't share, sell, or even see the numbers you type into the calculators. They live in your browser tab and disappear when you close it.
What We Cover
- Personal & household: Mortgage (PITI + PMI), auto loan, personal loan, student loan, investment growth.
- Business & commercial: Term loan, SBA 7(a) and 504, equipment financing (loan vs. lease + Section 179), commercial real estate (balloon + DSCR), invoice factoring and merchant cash advance.
Each calculator includes a credit-risk widget that estimates your odds of approval and your expected rate range based on FICO, income, and DTI. It's a heuristic — not a lender decision — but it'll tell you when an application is borderline before you waste a hard inquiry on it.
How We Stay Honest
Every formula is documented on the relevant calculator page. We use the standard fixed-rate amortization formula for everything that amortizes, the actual SBA fee schedule, the actual 2024 HHS poverty lines for income-driven student-loan plans, and a Newton-Raphson solver for effective APR with origination fees. Sources we benchmark against: CFPB, Freddie Mac PMMS, SBA.gov, Federal Student Aid, IRS §179, FDIC.
If you spot a math error, please open an issue on our GitHub repository — we'd rather fix it than pretend it's not there.
What We're Not
- We are not a lender. We can't approve or fund loans.
- We are not a broker or lead generator. We don't share your data with anyone.
- We are not a financial advisor. Use these tools as a starting point and consult a fiduciary for personalized advice.
